Girls Inc. offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities for corporate or community based groups, large or small.  Whether you want to spend meaningful time reading with girls, assisting with homework or even working on a paint project, it all plays an essential role in helping girls be successful.

Volunteers are needed at all four Girls Inc. Campuses in Love Field, Oak Cliff, South Dallas, and West Dallas. 

Our program hours during the school year are M-F 3:00p.m.-7:00pm.  During the summer we are open from 7:30a.m.-6:00p.m.  Many of our group volunteer opportunities can be a one-time or ongoing activity.

Tutors or Read to the Girls: Help our girls succeed in school by helping with homework, test preparation, or read with the girls to improve reading comprehension.

Workshop Assistants: Whether your group enjoys sports, crafts or can lead a program on career readiness or leadership, our girls love learning new things! 

College/Career Speakers: Group members share their career path story, any obstacles to achieving personal goals, and explanation about their current position

Job Shadow Field Trip for Corporate Groups: Host the girls at your job site, talk about your company and career opportunities, and/or allow girls to shadow members of your group.

Supply Drives: Hold a supply drive to benefit our girls and programs.  Girls Inc. is always in need of school and art supplies, sports equipment, games, books and more.

Campus Beautification Day: Make our campuses bright and cheerful by painting inside or outside, landscaping, cleaning up a playground, or assisting our campus staff with monthly thematic and event decor.
